Court is held the first three Wednesdays of each month beginning at
3:00 p.m. at City Hall, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior.
Schedules may change due to State and Federal Holidays.

Payment on citations must be received before the court date listed on the copy of the citation(s) provided to you.
Paying citations in person – bring copy of signed citation(s) along with payment in full to City Hall.
Mailing Payments, (Money Order/Certified Cashier's Check), mail signed copy of the citation(s) along with
payment in full;
No partial payments will be accepted unless ordered by the Court. Payments mailed must be received in our office at least 24 hours prior to scheduled court date listed on the citation(s).

For payments made online/pay by phone (debit/credit transaction(s)), a 3.50% or a $3.00 minimum service fee is assessed by a third party company. No revenue for the service fee is received by the City of Montevallo.
FAILURE TO APPEAR OR PAY IN FULL PRIOR TO YOUR SCHUELED COURT DATE
WILL RESULT IN THE ISSUANCE OF A WARRANT FOR YOUR ARREST
Once a warrant is issued it cannot be dropped or canceled without proof of an emergency, such as:
hospitalization, death of immediate family member or incarceration.
A Spanish interpreter is available at City Hall during regular business hours with an additional interpreter during court sessions. For other interpreters, please contact the Municipal Court at least two (2) weeks prior to your court date to make arrangements for the type of interpreter that will be needed.
